Ranchi :  Ranchi DC Rai Mahimat Ray took twitter to inform that all schools of Ranchi will remain closed on account of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti.

Ranchi Dc twitted this after Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Hemant Soren announced that 23rd January will be a public holiday in Jharkhand on account of 123rd birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Hemant Soren Twitted ” झारखंड नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस की कर्मभूमि भी रही है। भारत को आजादी दिलाने में उनके योगदान को कभी नहीं भुलाया जा सकता है। हम सबों को उनके जीवन से प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए। युवाओं को नेताजी के पद चिन्हों पर चलकर राज्य और देश सेवा में अपना योगदान करना चाहिए। – मुख्यमंत्री श्री हेमंत सोरेन ”

About Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose : Subhas Chandra Bose , born on 23rd January 1897 in Cuttack , Bengal Presidency , British India ( cuurently Odisha , India ) was a freedom fighter whose defiant patriotism made him a hero in India. He was the leader of Indian National Army (4 July 1943 – 18 August 1945 ) , President of Indian National Congress ( 18 January 1938 – 29 April 1939.

Bose has been featured on the stamps of India from 1964 , 1993 , 1997 , 2001 , 2016 and 2018 . The Kolkata Airort , Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Airport is also named after him .

On his visit to the Subhas Chandra Bose memorial hall in Kolkata on 23rd August 2007 , Japanese Prime Minister , ShinzŌ Abe said to the Bose’s family “The Japanese are deeply moved by Bose’s strong will to have led the Indian independence movement from British rule. Netaji is a much respected name in Japan.”

Bose died during the World War II on 18 August 1945 ( aged 48 ) in Taihoku , Japanese Taiwan ( present day Taiwan ) with Third-Degree burns from aircrash being the reason of his death.
